VWSA's 19th Employee Volunteer Project

17 May 2018

Ubuntu, the belief in a universal  bond that connects all of humanity, is alive and well at VWSA.

On 08 April 2017, employees at the VWSA Uitenhage plant spent their morning at the Walmer Primary school in Nelson Mandela Bay. The Volkswagen Show of Hands programme asks VWSA employees to give of their own time to improve the lives of those less fortunate and in Port Elizabeth the 100 VWSA volunteers painted classrooms, murals, and other items such as tyres in the play areas, the jungle gym, painting of fences, doors and door frames. The volunteers also assisted with planting of trees, flower beds and general gardening.

This will be VWSA's 19th community volunteer project country wide and the 13th to be held in the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro under the banner of "Show of Hands".
